NetSuite expands business in New Zealand with new partnership with Liberate I.T.

Partnership Enables Liberate I.T. to Establish Cloud Presence and Practice

SYDNEY AND AUCKLAND—June 20, 2011—NetSuite Inc., the industry's leading provider of cloud-based financials / ERP software suites, today announced a strategic partnership with Liberate I.T., a progressive firm liberating New Zealand businesses from I.T. hassles. This partnership enables Liberate to gain cloud presence in New Zealand by offering NetSuite's cloud-based business management software suites to businesses of its target size. Under the agreement, Liberate I.T. can provide implementation and support services leveraging its domain knowledge in IT, as well as best practices serving businesses spanning verticals such as wholesale/distribution, manufacturing, and professional services. Liberate I.T. selected NetSuite as a strategic cloud ERP partner following a thorough investigation that considered dozens of factors, including solution maturity, cloud infrastructure, vertical functionality, flexible and powerful customisation capabilities and client awareness.

Liberate I.T. was created by Soltius, a successful New Zealand ERP practice with more than 15 years' experience providing ERP solutions and more than 80 consultants nationwide. While Liberate I.T. was founded as a separate business focused solely on the NetSuite cloud, it can leverage its sister company's 15 years' experience in providing ERP solutions to New Zealand companies. Liberate I.T. decided to partner with NetSuite after seeing a dramatic surge in demand for cloud solutions from local businesses who desire the flexibility, speed and cost benefits of the cloud. Liberate recognised that, while New Zealand companies were usually smaller than those of their international counterparts, their business processes were just as complex. On-premise accounting packages couldn't manage that level of complexity, and the costs of traditional enterprise software were more than most companies could bear.

"Having worked with some of the country's most successful companies to understand their business requirements, we recognised the need for a more robust cloud-based ERP solution," said Liberate I.T. Director Nick Mulcahy. "We quickly realised that the depth of NetSuite's solution combined with its development platform, configurability, and industry-specific functionality was clearly complementary to our technology practice."

"NetSuite is an ideal fit for Liberate I.T.'s strategy towards enabling customers to focus on their core business," said Mark Troselj, Managing Director for APAC at NetSuite. "Liberate I.T. consultants, using NetSuite, can work collaboratively with clients to create new business opportunities rather than being buried under the weight of traditional I.T. We are excited to support Liberate I.T.'s aggressive expansion into cloud computing."

NetSuite was recently named as the fastest growing financial management vendor—for the third straight year according to the latest research on Financial Management Software (FMS) from Gartner Inc., Market Share: All Software Markets, Worldwide, 2010. In addition, NetSuite was bestowed with top honours for Best Financial Management Solution in the prestigious 2011 CODiE Awards by The Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA).
