SuiteVolunteers Pairs NetSuite Employee Expertise with Its Cloud-Based Software, Allowing Charities to Focus on Creating Change

SAN MATEO, Calif.—June 19, 2013—NetSuite Inc. (NYSE: N), the industry's leading provider of cloud-based financials / ERP software suites, today announced a pro bono service offering, SuiteVolunteers—a program run by its corporate citizenship arm, NetSuite.org. SuiteVolunteers brings together NetSuite's leading cloud-based business management suite with the industry expertise of its employees, offering their services to qualifying charities or social enterprises. NetSuite's cloud-based solution spares NetSuite.org grantees the expense and overhead that legacy, on-premise software requires, while NetSuite employees provide not only their expertise with NetSuite's comprehensive software suite, but their years of experience in specific roles.

"Our goal with SuiteVolunteers is to provide our grantees with NetSuite's most valuable resource, our suite of business management software and our employees' deep and practical knowledge," said David Geilhufe, Director of NetSuite.org at NetSuite.

Through product donations, deep discounts and pro bono services to qualified charities and social enterprises, NetSuite.org aims to help these organisations more effectively run their business. NetSuite donates midmarket-level platform support and a minimum of five NetSuite software licenses to qualifying organisations. Using NetSuite eases the burden of maintaining software and allows organisations to focus on their core mission. Adding the expertise of SuiteVolunteers supercharges NetSuite's world-class software, not only allowing grantees to do their good work, but to do it better. organisations currently leveraging NetSuite.org and the SuiteVolunteers program include Water For People, Girl Scouts of the USA, FH Canada, and Charity: Water.

Under the SuiteVolunteers program, NetSuite employees donate up to 20 hours of their time to specific projects that NetSuite.org's 350 grantees can apply for on a quarterly basis. Projects are matched with qualifying organisations and completed within that quarter. In Q1 of 2013, 22 grantees received pro bono services from NetSuite through the program. In Q2 of 2013, NetSuite.org is taking on 23 projects for 21 different organisations and thus far, nearly 100 NetSuite employees have contributed their time and expertise to the program. Four organisations have received services during both Q1 and Q2, demonstrating NetSuite.org's commitment to comprehensive assistance for their grantees. Applications for Q3 2013 projects will be open June 17 through July 5. Eliminate Poverty Now, a charity that promotes economic development and educational opportunity in Africa, especially for women, was a NetSuite.org grantee that received pro bono services from NetSuite last quarter.

"Not only did SuiteVolunteers deliver beyond my expectations, but I have never had a volunteer project handled in such a professional manner," said Judy Craig, Co-Founder and Grants Committee Chair for End Poverty Now. "This is the most professional volunteer project I have experienced. From the first meeting to outline our goals, to the document describing the deliverables and the attention given to the deadline, everything was handled professionally and met or exceeded our expectations. With the help of SuiteVolunteers, we are able to create our reports faster and focus more of our time to work on the projects we do in Africa. We also have a better understanding of our donors and are able to more effectively monitor grant spending."

"I had a blast completing the project," said Bariza Narmada, Senior APAC Education Consultant at NetSuite, who donated his time to a project for AyurVAID Hospitals, a chain of six Ayerveda Hospitals in India and a NetSuite.org grantee. "It's a great feeling knowing that I contributed to a worthy organisation."
