NetLedger expands vertical market solutions through easy integration with third parties

Redwood Shores, CA—Partnering for Profit Conference—April 29, 2003—NetLedger, Inc., makers of Oracle® Small Business Suite, today announced integration partnerships with leading vertical industry software providers targeting markets including biotech, agriculture, residential sales and construction, document management, and electronic data interchange (EDI). These relationships extend NetLedger's integrated ERP/CRM application suite to meet the specific needs of unique industries with a pay-as-you-go utility software model. The announcement was made today at the company's second annual partner conference. The Oracle Small Business Suite name is used under license from Oracle Corporation (NASDAQ: ORCL).

"Nine months ago, NetLedger created a program to enable partners to share in our rapid growth. To do this, we opened our business model and technology architecture to enable third-parties to leverage the wide-acceptance of NetSuite," said Zach Nelson, president and CEO of NetLedger. "These new partnerships allow us to continue making NetSuite the world's strongest integrated ERP/CRM solution, while enabling industry experts to extend NetSuite for the specific needs of vertical markets."

Delivered as online services, NetLedger's NetSuite enables companies to manage all key business processes in a single, integrated system. There is no hardware to procure, no large, up-front license fee, no maintenance fees associated with hardware or software, and no complex set-ups.

In 2000, NetLedger announced first XML standard specifically for the small to medium businesses: smbXML. This standard allows NetLedger and other business applications to exchange information in a common language, thus seamlessly integrating their products to deliver greatly enhanced business solutions. Both in-house applications developed by customers and commercial software applications from 3rd parties can exchange real-time information securely over the Internet with NetSuite and NetLedger's other product offerings.

Leveraging smbXML, NetLedger's award-winning NetSuite will be integrated with other industry specific solutions and will be available to the following vertical markets:

  • Agriculture - NetLedger has partnered with Ryburn, Inc. based in Salinas, Calif., a leading provider of technology in the agricultural vertical market.
