NetSuite launches software donation program for Australian not-for-profit organisations

NetSuite Partners with Connecting Up to Help Australian Not-for-Profits Move to the Cloud and Improve Operation Efficiency

SYDNEY—June 3, 2015—NetSuite Inc. (NYSE: N), the industry's leading provider of cloud-based financials / ERP and omnichannel commerce software suites, has announced the exclusive availability of donations of NetSuite's comprehensive suite of cloud business management applications, including ERP, CRM, ecommerce, professional services automation (PSA), NetSuite TribeHR for social human capital management (HCM) and the LightCMS content management platform, to Australian not-for-profits through Connecting Up Inc., an organisation that works to empower Australian not-for-profits through information products, resources and programs.

NetSuite.org, NetSuite's corporate citizenship arm, donates NetSuite's powerful cloud-based management suite of applications to qualified not-for-profits to conduct their mission-critical business operations like accounting, social impact reporting and business processes unique to their organisations, as well as ERP, grants management, donor management, human resources, content management and fundraising. It is the first time that the program has been extended to Australia.

"Access to technology is an important part of creating a stronger and more productive not-for-profit sector," said Anne Gawen, CEO of Connecting Up Inc. "We are proud that companies like NetSuite choose to partner with Connecting Up to make their technology available to Australian not-for-profit organisations through our donations program."

NetSuite's Director of Social Impact, Peggy Duvette added: "We are thrilled to bring our software donations and pro bono volunteers to not-for-profit organisations in Australia," Duvette said. "We look forward to serving thousands of not-for-profits in Australia over the coming years."

NetSuite will be listed in the Connecting Up Suppliers Directory (http://www.connectingup.org/directory/suppliers), which allows not-for-profit organisations to find local IT suppliers, consultants and solution providers who service their area and have also been endorsed by other not-for-profit organisations.

Not-for-profit organisations across the globe have shown a clear desire for cloud-based technology. According to a 2012 TechSoup Global survey of more than 10,800 NGOs in 88 countries, 90 percent of respondents worldwide reported using at least one cloud application, and 53 percent reported plans to move a "significant portion" of their IT to the cloud within the next three years. NetSuite is the first cloud-based financial solution to be available to Australian not-for-profit organisations through Connecting Up, and TribeHR and LightCMS are the first cloud-based human capital management and content management systems respectively to be made available through Connecting Up.

Qualified not-for-profits can also benefit from NetSuite.org's unique grantee support program, SuiteVolunteers, which pairs NetSuite employees with grantees to tackle the not-for-profits' back-office challenges through ongoing pro bono projects. NetSuite's cloud-based delivery model also spares not-for-profits the high upfront capital expenditures and ongoing maintenance and IT staffing required by traditional on-premise software, allowing these organisations to devote those resources to fulfil their missions.

Since its founding in 2008, the NetSuite.org corporate citizenship program has empowered more than 500 not-for-profits and social enterprises around the globe with tools to amplify their impact in making the world a better place.
