NetSuite Seeks Customer and Partner Participants to Prototype Creative Solutions for Found Animals Foundation and Good360
SAN MATEO, Calif.—April 1, 2015—NetSuite Inc. (NYSE: N), the industry's leading provider of cloud-based financials / ERP and omnichannel commerce software suites, today announced its second annual Hackathon 4Good, a charity competition open to NetSuite customers, partners and employees attending SuiteWorld 2015 to design and build creative NetSuite-based solutions for use by two nonprofit organisations. This year's challenge will benefit two nonprofit organisations including Found Animals Foundation and Good360. The Hackathon4 Good will run from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. PT at the San Jose Convention Centre on Monday, May 4, the opening day of the SuiteWorld 2015 user conference in San Jose, Calif. For information about SuiteWorld and how to receive a free pass, please visit www.netsuitesuiteworld.com.
During the Hackathon 4Good, participants will team up based on skills and interests to put their NetSuite ‘ninja’ skills to work. All solutions built need to be based on the NetSuite SuiteCloud platform and should address the challenges outlined by the nonprofits, which are both recipients of grants awarded by the NetSuite.org corporate citizenship program:
A panel of judges that includes NetSuite Founder, CTO and Chairman of the Board Evan Goldberg and representatives of the two nonprofits will select the winning solutions, following live presentations from each team.
"Hackathon 4Good is a creative way for SuiteWorld attendees to help out two worthwhile charities dedicated to social good while having fun, networking with others and making this year's SuiteWorld especially memorable," said David Geilhufe, Senior Director of NetSuite.org. "Besides doing good work for charities, the winning team(s) will receive some fantastic prizes and bragging rights."
